Older adults make doctors happy. Kids, too.  Don't you want to make your doctors happy?  I don't because I don't like going to a doctor.  One doctor I read about says he likes geriatrics because his patients tell him a lot about their life expirences.  Most geriatric doctors say the same thing. J. Paul Leigh headed up the research on this subject and found out the physician satisfaction is linked to doctor's satisfaction with geriatrics and teens practice.  Leigh indicated the satisfaction came from the patients themselves and the patients' outcomes. Doctors of Gynecology are the most disatisfied physicians.  Why, you ask?  It's thought they want more money and shorter hours.

The geriatrics study by University of California at Davis Center for Healthcare Policy and Research shows the doctors (6,500 of them)  said basically the same thing about their patients. The study's lead author says that feeling is linked to patient satisfaction. What age are you when you are considered being in the geriatric category?  I can't find a definite age but the Web shows a definition as being aged, that is to say old age.  Some days I feel aged or old. Other days I forget my age and want to kick up my heels.
