I read the article, "THE PCH" on web site http://www.highwaytraveling.com/2009/06/18/the-pch-.html
and I really enjoyed it. I have been up and down the 101 in Oregon but not further north or south of the state. I didn't realize the official highway was from just south of San Francisco to Los Angles; true drivers of the Pacific Coast Highway see it stretching from Canadian border to the Mexican border. The highway runs for 1800 to 2000 miles through the most beautiful coastal country.
