I am back... waiting for doors to open up. Right now I am just waiting... I waited overnight and now have something to say. I got my printer working and was able to scanned docs to IGoMogul. One thing done; now I am writing this article before resting and lunch, then an afternoon of TV. I also printed out a document that my husband sent me to see if I could find it and print it. That was good to get done. It was not hard to do but sometimes the easiest tasks are the most difficult to think through. Earlier, I was stopped dead in my tracks. I wanted to make a bank run and suddenly my scooter needed a charge. That’s what is happening at this time. I will do the bank thing tomorrow. Have you heard that oldsters make mints by leaving globs of toothpaste on the window sill to dry? That fact was sent to me by another mature individual who is still working and will only retire when the time comes. My friend also suggests saving money by giving dirty laundry to charities who wash and fold them before trying to see them for a couple of dollars. When I came to the following suggestion, I knew I was being messed with. “Old telephone books can be turned into good personal address by crossing out names and addresses of people you don’t know”. Ohhhhhh, pahleeze. Let me give a few more laughs from a friend. My friend added how to save on booze by drinking cold tea instead of whiskey. You may have to act hung over and bump your head into the wall. |
