I am so glad to be able to blog right now. I have some of my Saturday chores in process and have telephone visits of yesterday on my mind. Working at home by yourself can be lonely. At least I am doing work but need others voices in my ear. Day before, I had called my step-mom and she called me back yesterday. We had a good long chat...
Then I called my brother and we talked warmingly about the past and present. Then I called my Washington buddy and we talked and talked about us. You see, we both have MS. Let me tell you about WA buddy.
We both have MS. We were in contact, separately, with a guy in Rhode Island. RI guy also has MS thus the connection. Years ago when he and I were becoming “pen pals” he thought to introduce WA bud and me. He told me that she lived in Portland and I should get to know her. He gave me her email address and we connected.
I was still working and driving so we talked on the phone and discovered we lived in the area and we should meet. We did and have been best buds ever since. My bud moved to WA and don’t see each other much these days, but we chat with emails and telephone. I know we will remain close forever and ever. We have connected with MSers all over the country. We are blessed with computers. WA bud, if you read this blog, comment on when we met. I have MS and can’t remember details. |
